After our last Smith in Europe reunion in Brussels in 2018, we all departed with an Au Revoir until Paris in 2020.
Well, sometimes the best made plans have to be adjusted.
Now it is Benvenuti a Milano!
Brush up on your Italian and come explore Italy’s best kept secret with other alums of Smith College from Thursday October 27th to Sunday October 30th 2022 !
The challenge of organizing a group activity in these uncertain times means that this year’s official reunion program will be simple:
- Thursday evening Welcome aperitivo at Reunion HQ Hotel
- a special multi-course lunch at Erba Brusca on Saturday, the farm-to-table restaurant of Smith’s most famous “cheffa” (Alice Delcourt, ’99)
- Traditional Sunday morning business meeting
- a Farewell brunch
Prior to heading to Milan, participants will receive a long list of ideas for things you might want to do while in Milan (we’ve got it all—including world class museums, great shopping, walking tours, and even an in-city thermal spa where an antique tram serves as the sauna!). Gather your buddies and head off to discover the city which hosted the 2015 World Expo and will be co-hosting the 2026 Winter Olympics with Cortina.
Of course we’ll also give you recommendations for all kinds of restaurants that are walking distance from the reunion headquarters – no one will go home hungry!

Of course it is more fun to be where the action is, but within walking distance of the Reunion HQ hotel there are also many alternative forms of lodging (from hostels to boutique hotels).

Important:
Payment and Registration are two different things. Please fill out the registration form in full and press the send button.
Any covid regulations that are in vigor at the time of the event will be strictly followed. If you don’t feel comfortable with possible limitations, you might want to wait until 2024 when Smith in Europe will meet in Paris.
A final word about cancellations: If you register and pay but your plans change at the last minute, we can not guarantee a refund. We will certainly accept a substitute or help find someone to take your place. Along these same lines, if an international conflict escalates to a scale deemed unsafe and the Reunion needs to be cancelled we will do our utmost to refund a portion of the monies paid-in, however EURO 75 shall be considered non-refundable. This amount covers non-refundable venue deposits and various administrative fees.
